For futures day traders · NQ and MNQ first
Your strategy probably isn't the problem. Your habits are.
TiltLab is one desktop home for prep, charts, mentors, prop-account limits and review. It learns how you trade and speaks up before a habit costs you, not after.

The problem
Most traders don't lose to the market. They lose to the same three or four habits, again and again.
You already know your rules. The trouble is the moment you break them: after a loss, late in the session, when a move runs without you. Charting tools don't notice. Journals notice a week later.
The revenge trade
A loss, then a bigger, faster trade to win it back. It rarely feels like revenge in the moment.
The tilt point
Everyone has a number of losses, or a dollar figure, after which their decisions change. Few people know theirs.
The tired hours
The same setup, taken at 9:45 and at 2:30, is not the same trade. Your data usually knows when you fade.
TiltLab is built around one idea: catch the habit while you can still do something about it.
What's inside
Seven rooms, one routine.
Prep before the open, trade with a co-pilot, protect your prop accounts, review what really happened, and practise in replay. It's all in one window, running on your own computer.
A second opinion before you click, not after.
Before an entry, the co-pilot checks the trade against your own rules and your recent behaviour. If something is off, it tells you in one plain sentence and lets you decide.
- Warns before rule breaks: oversizing, trading outside your hours, no stop, past your daily limit.
- On Pro, it also knows your Trader DNA: tilt zone, revenge window, fading hours.
- Never blocks you and never trades for you. You stay in charge.
Two flags. Halve the size, or wait nine minutes?
IllustrationA behaviour profile learned from your own trades.
Trader DNA reads your journal and finds the patterns you can't see from inside a session. It also shows where what you say about your trading and what your data shows don't match.
- Tilt point: the loss count or drawdown after which your results change.
- Revenge window: how soon after a loss your next trade tends to go wrong.
- Best and worst hours, fatigue across the session, and how size affects you.
Know exactly how much room you have left.
Track each evaluation and funded account against its own daily loss limit and drawdown. The tiles update as you trade, so you never have to work out your buffer mid-trade.
- Daily loss and trailing drawdown tiles for every account, side by side.
- A clear status when you're close: slow down, size down, or stop for the day.
- You enter each account's rules yourself. Always check them against your firm's own dashboard.
Every trade, tagged with the habit behind it.
Your fills are drawn on the chart where they happened, and each trade is tagged: followed the plan, chased, revenge, moved the stop, oversized. After a few weeks you can see which habit costs you the most.
- Import fills, or on Pro let Tradovate sync them automatically (read-only).
- Results grouped by habit, by hour and by setup.
- Replay the session around any trade to see what you saw.
Practise the decision, not just the setup.
Short, scored drills on real past sessions in replay: the chart stops at a moment and you choose what to do. It's repetition for the calls you get wrong under pressure.
- Replay on 1-second bars, so it moves the way a live session does.
- Scored against what happened next, with the reasoning shown.
- Free includes five drills a day.
Drill 3 of 5 · replay of a past session
A premarket routine that's the same every day.
Prep pulls together the levels and events you care about and asks you to write a plan before the bell. Your plan then sits beside the chart, and the co-pilot holds you to it.
- Prior-day and overnight levels, the economic calendar, and your own notes.
- Plan A and Plan B for the session, written down before the open.
- Your session limits, set while you're calm, so the co-pilot can remind you of them later.
Mentors in replay and live
Rule-based mentors watch the chart with you and explain what they see as it happens. They coach the read; they don't sell you trades.
AI mentor (Pro)
Ask why something happened and get a plain-language answer tuned to your Trader DNA. It can be wrong, so treat it as a second opinion.
Market room
Browse mentors built by other traders, with verified records from live alerts and backtests clearly labelled as backtests.
How it works
Up and running before tomorrow's open.
Install
Download the Windows app and sign in. Your journal and settings live on your own computer.
Connect NinjaTrader
Add the small bridge indicator to a NinjaTrader 8 chart. Live prices flow from your own data feed to the app on the same PC. We don't resell market data.
Trade with a co-pilot
Write your plan in Prep, trade as normal in your own platform, and let the co-pilot and mentors speak up when it matters. Review it all after the close.
The Floor
Live trader channels where the scorecard is real.
Most trading chat rooms are built on screenshots of winners. On the Trading floor, a call is logged the moment it's posted, with entry, stop, target and time. It's then scored against price automatically.
- Nobody can edit a call. You can take one back only in its first 2 minutes, before it has a result; after that it stays on your record.
- Every caller has a public scorecard of all their calls, not a highlight reel.
- Channels by market and style, with threads that stay on topic.
Calls on the Floor are other traders' opinions. They are not advice, and a good scorecard doesn't mean future calls will work.
Watching the prior-day high. Only interested if it rejects.
MyMentor and the marketplace
Build your own mentor. Test it honestly. Sell it with a record nobody can edit.
Turn the way you trade into rules: where, what happens there, when, and the trade it implies. Your mentor then watches replay or the live market and alerts you when its rules line up.
- Test on past sessions with an in-sample / out-of-sample split, so you can see if a rule only worked on the days it was built on.
- On Pro, run it live. Every alert and its outcome go into a signed, append-only record. The outcome is worked out by our server from price, not by the mentor or its creator.
- After 30 closed alerts over at least 30 days, you can list it on the marketplace ($5 to $500 a month) and keep 70% of every subscription.
Marketplace records are built from simulated alerts, not live trades, and they carry the limits of all hypothetical results. Mentors are educational tools from independent creators, not investment advice. Subscribers make their own decisions.

FAQ
Straight answers
Do you provide market data?
No. TiltLab uses your own NinjaTrader or broker data feed. Prices flow from NinjaTrader to the app on the same computer, and they don't leave your machine. You need a valid data subscription with your own provider, on the terms of that provider.
Is it Windows only?
Yes, at launch. The live connection runs through NinjaTrader 8, which is a Windows application. Mac users can run it through Windows on a virtual machine, but we can't support that setup yet.
Does it place trades for me?
No. You trade in your own platform, as you do today. The NinjaTrader bridge only sends price data, and the Tradovate sync is read-only: it reads your fills and balances and can't place, change or cancel orders.
Will this make me profitable?
We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Most traders lose money. What TiltLab does is show you your own habits clearly and give you a chance to catch them in the moment. What you do with that is up to you.
Which markets does it support?
NQ and MNQ first, because that's where it was built and tested. More futures markets will follow. We'd rather support a few markets properly than many badly.
Where does my trading data go?
Your journal lives on your own computer by default. If you turn on sync, for example to use the app on more than one device or to join the Floor, the data you choose is stored with our database provider. We never sell your data. See the Privacy Policy.
Are you affiliated with a prop firm?
No. Protect tracks the limits you enter for each account. Firms change their rules, so always check your numbers against your firm's own dashboard. If the two ever disagree, your firm's dashboard is the one that counts.
Can a marketplace creator fake their track record?
The record is built only from live alerts, signed and chained so that any edit, deletion or reordering shows up. Outcomes are worked out by our server from price, never reported by the creator. Backtests are shown, but labelled as backtests and kept out of rankings. Even so, these are simulated alerts, not real fills, and past alerts don't predict future ones.
Is the AI mentor always right?
No. AI explanations can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Use them to think, not as instructions. The rule-based mentors work without AI.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then your account moves to Free. Your local journal stays on your computer.
